Day 1 : Casablanca \u2013 Rabat<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

Upon arrival, we\u2019ll collect you and drive to Casablanca<\/a> where you\u2019ll visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest outside Mecca and experience the coastal Cornish seaside. Afterwards, we\u2019ll leave for Rabat, the capital of\u00a0Morocco. Here, you\u2019ll see the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah before checking in to your Riad at the heart of the Medina. Overnight in our Hotel\/Riad.<\/p>\n

Day 2 : Rabat \u2013\u00a0Chefchaouen<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

After breakfast in your hotel you can start the raod to Chefcahouen, for to get there in the mid day for \u00a0exploring the medina of\u00a0 Chefcahouen. A beautiful unique city with its white washed walls and its blue doors and windows. Unlike many part of\u00a0Morocco, this city was occupied by Spain and the influences of Spanish civilisation and architecture are all around. You\u2019ll also have the opportunity to meet locals and walk in this beautiful Medina. Overnight in your Riad.<\/p>\n

Day 3: Chefchaouen \u2013 Volubilis \u2013 Meknes \u2013 Fes<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

After breakfast We will then depart via Volubilis, the Roman ruins and Moulay Idriss, the holy town. Then Meknas we will take a\u00a0tour\u00a0of the Medina including El Hdim square, Bab El Mansour, the massive gate which is the entrance to the old city and the Jewish quarter, the Royal Granaries & the city rampart. Night in your accommodation.<\/p>\n

Day 4: Exploring Fes<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

After breakfast in your Riad, you\u2019ll start exploring the oldest city in\u00a0Morocco\u00a0browsing its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter and the first Mellah ever built in\u00a0Morocco. We will ensure that you visit all the sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University \u2013 the oldest in the region, the Tanneries and the Attarine museum. After lunch, you\u2019ll see the ceramic factory and experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. In the afternoon, we\u2019ll visit the new city\u201d La Ville nouvelle\u201d for a drink. Overnight in our Hotel\/Riad.<\/p>\n

Day 5: Fes\u00a0\u2013 Ifrane \u2013 Azrou\u00a0\u2013 Midelt \u2013 Errachidia \u2013 Merzouga<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

After breakfast we\u2019ll leave Fes travelling towards Ifrane, a beautiful mountain village, referred to as \u201cthe Switzerland of\u00a0Morocco\u201d. During this journey you\u2019ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains.\u00a0 Stopping at Azrou \u2013 a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest (the largest in\u00a0Morocco, you may well have the chance to see some Barbary apes. Afterwards we\u2019ll travel through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock.
\nAfter\u00a0\u00a0lunch in your hotel you\u2019ll travel to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You\u2019ll be travelling via the Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau, noting how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia. Afterwards, you\u2019ll travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani.\u00a0 Arriving at Merzouga in the afternoon, you\u2019ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before checking in to your Riad.<\/p>\n

Day 6: Merzouga area and the Camel Trek<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

After breakfast in the Hotel you can start exploring the area. You\u2019ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle, whilst not far away there\u2019s the lake of Merzouga with its bird populations. You may also want to visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities. In the afternoon it\u2019s time for your camel trek, guided by an experienced camel man as you set off to explore within the sand sea of Merzouga. Dinner is in front of the tent where you will spend the night (the camp in equipped with flash-toilets and shower).<\/p>\n

Day\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>7: Merzouga \u2013 Todra Gorges \u2013 Dades Gorges \u2013\u00a0Ouarzazate\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

Your camelman will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life after which you\u2019ll camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga admiring the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes \u2013 changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in the Riad, you\u2019ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorges \u2013 the highest, narrowest gorges in\u00a0Morocco. Lunch in the heart of the gorge precedes a drive through the Dades Valley\u00a0towards Kalaa M\u2019gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs \u2013 providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We\u2019ll stop at Kalaa Mgouna, \u201cthe rose city\u201d, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over.\u00a0Overnight in our Hotel\/Riad.<\/p>\n

Day\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>8: Ouarzazate \u2013 Ait ben Haddou \u2013 High Atlas Mountains \u2013 Marrakech \u2013 Essaouira<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

After breakfast you well enjoy the best views of the valley from one strategic lookout in the mountains, from there we can appreciate the great number of kasbahs and the scenic characteristics of each one. Then we continue by a road fo thousand kasbahs to Ait Ben Haddou passing by the cinema studios. Half\u00a0hour driving\u00a0from Ouarzazate, we will stop at ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Knowed by Famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile and Games of thrones. Visite of the site and time for lunch in town. In the afternoon raod to Marrakech through the Atlas mountain by Tizi Ntichka with stops to take pictures. On your way to Marrakesh you will stop in co-operative of Argan oil and Overnight accommodation will be in a local Riad.<\/p>\n

Day 9: Marrakech \u2013 Essaouira\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

Breakfast is in your Riad, before a\u00a0tour\u00a0of the town. You\u2019ll visit the Skala Fortress, the port, the souks and see Thuya wood carved by artisans, walking through the alleys of the medina and past the hundreds of handicrafts.\u00a0Essaouira is known for its strong winds most of the year so it is known as the \u201cCity of the wind\u201d thus it attracts surfers from all over the world.\u00a0Essaouira knew many civilisations \u2013 including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture \u2013 however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also regarded as\u00a0Morocco\u2019s \u201cJewel of the Atlantics. Our visit includes the Mellah \u2013 the Jewish headquarter, and the beach. There is an annual festival of \u201cGnawa music\u201d, where many musical groups come from different parts of Africa and the world. Usually it starts in the third week of June, so if your trip coincides with this, you have the option to extend your stay for an extra day.\u00a0Today you will have lunch in a\u00a0Moroccan\u00a0way, bought fishes \u2018cooked to order\u2019. The afternoon\u2019s free to walk and explore by yourself then road to Marrakech. Overnight accommodation is in Riad in the Medina.<\/p>\n

Day 10 :\u00a0Marrakech \u2013 Casablanca<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

We will spend the morning at leisure for shopping or relaxing in Marrakech before leaving mid afternoon to arrive in Casablanca by 4pm (or if you have a departing flight or want to spend time in Casablanca we can leave Marrakech at your convenience).
